About 3 more days to the end of my carefree days. Been trying my best to enjoy the remaining of these unemployed days but it never seem enough. Somehow I feel that there are still lots of unfinished business, especially when almost all my traveling plans are ruin. Perhaps thats why I feel so unprepared and unexcited to start the new phase of my life and the most dreadful one, adulthood.

I got lucky and found what seem like a learning environment. Starting at ground zero shouldn't be a problem but I'm hoping with all my heart that all goes well. Probably would face some fresh grad woes and no one will tolerate any silly blunders anymore. :'(

Guess this is just part and parcel of life. You will never be prepared. You can rant on and on about how you don't wanna grow up, being an adult sucks and working life is a torment. The society, your family and peers will gradually push you to the real world even when you are not ready.

But if not now, then when?

CNY has always been one of my favourite festive season. From the perfect reason to go shopping, yummy goodies, gambling to heartwarming gatherings. Of course we have to minus 'what are you doing now', 'what are your future plans' and especially 'huh you are doing nothing now' questions... *kill me already*

This year was extra special because its probably the last time I'm going to celebrate all 15 days of CNY. Managed to do things more traditionally with all the extra time. Went grocery shopping with the parents and J, a very thorough spring cleaning, visiting the temple when the clock strikes 12 and banking in $$ in the most auspicious hour. Had a blast over at Shixian's place and invited some to my place for non-stop gambling till 4am. Its the first time I'm celebrating without any obligations or responsibility. Meaning no projects, school and next-day-work woes!!

Probably one of the more superstitious people around... But part of me finds it comforting in the sense that this lunar year would be better than the previous one.

So yes, those visuals pretty much summed up this year's cny. :)
