Milan

Pretty much sums up my 5d4n stay in Milan! Probably the best pattern I've got so far, since I love/hate to leave for the return sector on the last day.

We were all awed by how beautiful Cinque Terre was. Picture endless blue sea, 5 pretty villages (my favourite would be Corniglia), quaint little shophouses and the cliffs hidden all around. Can't help to imagine what it would be like to actually live there. It was nice to see that these historical fishing villages so well-preserved and also being able to truly experience the beauty of mother nature.

It was a pretty impromptu decision to head down to Venice the next day. Finally got to see the place in person. Although it was a little different from what I pictured it to be. Sadly it was bustling with people (mainly tourists like me), not a quiet little town with cheerful, singing gondoliers all around. Though the bubbling water spilling out of drains made us feel quite fortunate to visit this place before it actually sinks.

It still feels abit surreal... Putting aside the increasingly homesickness and wishing I was there visiting with more important people... I'm still thankful. Thankful for a spontaneous set of crew who are willing to take the 3h to each destinations. And of course, I cannot express how blessed it feels to actually visit these places in person.

I can get use to this, saying this frequently makes me believe it.

mumbai magic

Bombay

What seems likes an old building standing in the streets of Mumbai turns out to be on the grandest hotel I've ever been by far. In love with the intricate details everywhere.

It is eye-opening. Just a short 10 minutes drive from the airport to the hotel, you will be able to see poverty in what supposed to be the urban area in the city. I dare not imagine how the less developed places would be like...

I guess it is true, there is no poverty quite like ignorance. :(

the keeper

you were like a dream,
i wish i hadn't
slept through.

within it i fell deeper,
than your heart would
care to let you.

i thought you were a keeper,
i wish i could
have kept you.

Rmit graduation

Probably the last graduation we'll ever have in our life! Honestly miss the life being a student. Putting aside traveling to the west, dreadful essays and exams... I miss being so ever carefree without having to worry about money and being able to see your favourite people every single day.

So 27th August 2014 marks the day we officially graduate from SIM! It was so nice and comforting to see everyone again! :')
