you only get what you give
So that was my 3rd day of internship spending some bonding time with some of the other colleagues. We got our own room, get to sit in meetings and the people are generally nice... Perhaps the only problem is having nothing to do. We spent day 1 in our room just surfing till the extent that I feel kind of guilty doing nothing. For some of you this might be the dream internship job, just killing time every single day... Not for me. Although its only 3 days it feels like 3 years already. :(
Fingers and toes crossed that we will have more stuffs to do in the 3 months to come.

funny how it makes sense:
"In my next life I want to live backwards. You start out dead and get that out of the way. Then you wake up in an old people’s home feeling better every day. You get kicked out for being too healthy, go collect your pension, and then when you start work, you get a gold watch and a party on your first day. You work for 40 years until you’re young enough to enjoy your retirement. You party, drink alcohol, and are generally promiscuous, then you are ready for high school. You then go to primary school, you become a kid, you play. You have no responsibilities, you become a baby until you are born. And then you spend your last 9 months floating in luxurious spa like conditions with central heating and room service on tap, larger quarters every day and then, Voila! You finish off as an orgasm! I rest my case. "

life is a beautiful struggle
So while my other fellow marketers get to enjoy a 3 weeks break before internship... I got to start next Monday. Typically horrible 9-6 job over at Bishan while the rest are partying hard...
On the more positive note, I get to rest 3 weeks earlier before starting the next semester. Helping out with the annual dinner, hopefully getting to meet Mr. President (hehe) and doing media relations do sound fun though. Oh yes. Thank God I've company over there! No more lonelygirl1992 with Kerensa yay.
Gonna be nothing but positive. Keeping my fingers cross that I won't be a full-time coffee girl or some sad telemarketer/ market researcher there...
