rain rain go away

Our 4d3n getaway got shortened to 3d2n due to the wet weather. On the first day it actually rained from the moment we touched down (12pm) till the next day, say... 6pm? All water activities were canceled and even shopping was a hassle as we were in ponchos and carrying our brollies. The whole situation was so gloomy due to the weather and all of us were worried that we will be affected by the flood. We actually drove pass some places where the water level were knee length high and water supply in some malls were cut.

Imagine having to cross ankle-high water puddles in the shades of milk tea, cold wind blowing 360 deg, wet ponchos and bringing 2 sets of bikinis and not being able to wear them. It was quite bearable till a bug attacked my eye and we called Tigers and brought our flight a day earlier.

Day 1:

The sun came out for like 30 minutes and we rushed back to the hotel to put on our bikinis but it started to drizzle after a while. The water was too cold anyway....







Lucky for us, the rain sort of stop (after we changed our flight) and we went for grocery shopping, manicure, pedicure and massage.

Day 3:








Quite an unsuccessful trip but definitely memorable. Guess the most thankful thing this trip would be being with the girls and us managing to come back safe and sound.

Shopping trip next please, it's an all season thing!

Day 1:


Caught the 6pm flight to Bangkok! Sigh as much as I want to say 'I will never take Tiger Airways again', I've a flight with them tomorrow morning. :(

Home for 3 nights! Upgraded room with 2 queen-sized bed, free wifi and it was near to the shopping district! (thumbs up)







First stop: MBK for cheap jap food!!!!







Pretty short day considering that we only reached there at about 8pm!

Day 2:

Platinum fashion mall for some shopping first!

Sheryl's mom was so nice and patient with us all the time! Accompanying us to shop and waited for us here there everywhere. Wish that mummy was like that too~

Supposed to head to Chinatown for some accessories shopping but we didn't know that it closes at like 6pm. So we went off to mbk, did our nails and bought some hp accessories instead~

Pretty bb housings and the trend over there is like mismatched style but I really can't do mismatched. I'm abit of a colour-coordinated person and it makes your blackberry looks like a toy but its so cute so I got a spare one in coral and purple keypad!

No regrets no regrets.

Funniest ice-cream promoter! He greeted us with all sorts of languages with his mic and kept doing that heart shape thing. Best thing was we met him again the next day at Platinum and he greeted us all over again hahaha. Luv how friendly thais are.







And this was one of the Taiwanese staying on the same floor as us! Apparently he is a celebrity and I think all of us will think of him as the cute-guy-in-the-lift if Jerrica didn't remember him from some variety show. Funny how we met him like 3 times that day.

Steamboat for dinner after Chinatown (again)! Bought so many pretty rings!









All of bought like 25 bottles of Calipis back to Singapore because it's so nice! The supermarket staff were like laughing at us but it's all worth it.











Ended the last night with the best thai massage and abit of chilling in the lobby.

Day 4:














Back to Platinum to shop again and then to the airport. First time my flight got delayed and we spent 2hours drinking Starbucks and surfing the net. Only reached sgp at like 2.30am and by the time I'm all done with unpacking it was already 4am.

So that's my 4d3n trip with the girls! No more giggling over nothing with all of them, camwhoring every morning and waking up to @skinnyscandal's and @jerrbear's sleepy faces.

I'm missing them already. :(
